Because I'm short and slim, I can identify with somebody who's an unlikely fit for something and desperately wants to be part of it.
Daniel Radcliffe
I'm very good at deconstructing. I'm a very good troubleshooter for why something is unlikely to work. And most everything is unlikely to work.
Robert Downey, Jr.
A sentence that clots in your mouth is unlikely to flow in your mind.

Perhaps you've heard this quote about cooking: I read recipes like I read science fiction: I get to the end and say "Well that's not going to happen." That feeling that something is unlikely to turn out the way you expect can be unsettling. But it can also free you from trying to control what you cannot.
Picture the rainy vacation that still was loads of laughs. Or the project that changed course repeatedly yet still ended well. What Makes for a Great Summer Read?
Are you into a frothy, flirty beach read or do you enjoy a thought-provoking non-fiction to enliven a sultry summer day? Here's what we're enjoying -- digitally or in old-school print. And here's more inspiration for what to read next.
Kate: I'm currently reading The Good Girl by Mary Kubica and can't wait for the new Harry Potter (already a bestseller and not even published yet).
Christina: For the 3rd/4th grade summer book club I lead, it's Double Fudge by Judy Blume. Just for me, it's The Awakened Family: A Revolution in Parenting by Dr. Shefali Tsabary.
Melissa: I'm reading Tom Rachman's debut novel, The Imperfectionists.
Angie: I just finished Career of Evil, the third Cormoran Strike novel, by Robert Galbraith. I got all the way through this book before realizing that the author, Robert Galbraith, is really a pseudonym for J.K. Rowling!
