What are you doing to stretch yourself -- physically, mentally, personally, professionally? It's a good question to ask ourselves occasionally to make sure we're reaching beyond our comfort zone and pushing our performance forward. We've had some interesting projects lately that gave us a little lengthening and strengthening. Reach out to new people, consider new ideas, find new connections and you may find just the right amount of stretch yourself.

 Infographics are hot! You see them everywhere: in your email, e-newsletters and especially in social media. Infographics are a type of picture that uses both data and design, helping to communicate important and complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
It's the visual aspect of infographics that makes them so appealing. While we receive information from all of our senses, we receive the most from our sight. About 50% of the brain is dedicated to visual functions, and data that is presented visually is processed faster than text -- according to some sources, 60,000 times faster. While they are not new, information overload and shortened attention spans of the 21st century are making infographics more relevant and more popular than ever. Medtronic - Corporate Overview
 Medtronic needed a corporate overview that was comprehensive, but fast. Our design partner PLDG called on us to create the video content.
From recommending a narrator with an British accent and setting up the story's flow, to creating the on-screen and scripted words, High Point helped bring this global story to life.
Christina Nguyen Honored as "New Resonance" Poet
On  April 17, A New Resonance 8: Emerging Voices in English-Language Haiku was released and a selection of work from our very own Christina Nguyen was included. Although you may not be familiar with Red Moon Press, it's the largest publisher of haiku outside of Japan, and it's a big honor to be chosen as part of this anthology series. Congrats, Christina!
