The HeartBleed Bug and TTIA's Website
TTIA's website is powered by YourMembership, an association management platform provider. We received the following statement from YourMembership regarding the HeartBleed security flaw which states that TTIA's website is not at risk for this security flaw.

Dear Valued Customer,

Last week a group of security experts and researchers uncovered and disclosed a significant security flaw named Heartbleed that can make certain Website users' personal information vulnerable to attack.  Up to two-thirds of Websites utilize the affected technology, called OpenSSL, and the flaw has many of them working diligently to fix the problem and restore security.

We've heard from many of our customers and understand that there's a high level of anxiety due to the Heartbleed bug and the potential vulnerability of data.  We have conducted due diligence on our systems and are sure that those using the YourMembership.com platform are not at risk.

You and your members should always practice appropriate password security and follow best practices to change your passwords periodically. You can make your members aware that your association management platform is not vulnerable to the Heartbleed issue currently in the news.

If you have further questions or concerns, please contact our Customer Success team.

Best regards,

Shane Correa
Vice President, Customer Success
