The fourth annual e3: educate * empower * energize conference brings together individuals with Parkinson's, their care partners and family members, as well as professionals to share tips and tricks for living dynamic and vibrant lives. This conference will challenge all participants to:
- educate themselves about nonmotor symptoms and learn techniques to overcome those symptoms.
- energize and express themselves through the use of movement and creativity.
- empower themselves through reminders of how important self-talk and self-care are to their well-being.
Plus, participants will be invigorated by listening to Tim Hague Sr. and his captivating tales of his ultimate triumph in winning The Amazing Race Canada. This is an encouraging life experience and a reminder, to us all, to live our best lives possible.

 On Saturday, July 23rd the 4th Annual Gary Bass Memorial Golf Tournament was held at The Heritage Golf Course at Westmoor. A total of 22 teams took to the greens on a beautiful morning, to raise awareness of Parkinson's disease while golfing for a great cause. This year's Tournament raised over $10,200. These funds directly support the programs and services provided by the Parkinson Association of the Rockies, in memory of Gary Bass.
Each year this Tournament continues to grow by leaps and bounds. This growth is due to the dedication and persistence of the individuals on the Gary Bass Memorial Golf Tournament Committee, as well as the support of The Heritage Golf Course and the participation from our community.

Get Outside to Support Parkinson's
Don't forget to register for the following events to have fun while raising FUNds and awareness for Parkinson's disease.
Saturday, August 27 | 9:00am Cheesman Park | Denver J oin the 4th Annual Colorado Courage 5K Run to show your support for the nearly one million Americans who are living courageously with Parkinson's. The race is a family event; bring your kids, strollers, dogs and friends to race, jog or walk the course! For more information or to register click here.

Join John Jacquinot for his 4th Annual Redneck Ride for Parkinson's. This 24-mile bike ride through the foothills of Larimer County will raise awareness of Parkinson's disease and critical funds for Coloradans. All funds raised from this campaign will be designated to provide low-cost and/or scholarships for exercise and activity programs provided through the Parkinson Association. A team of people with Parkinson's and support hikers will be setting foot on the Pacific Crest Trail, southbound from Stevens Pass to Snoqualmie Pass in Washington state, to raise awareness of Parkinson's and critical funds for programs and services which help those with Parkinson's live healthy and vibrant lives.
