Wash Park: Denver, Sandstone Ranch: Longmont or Choose to Snooze

Are you registered? 63 teams have been formed and Team Jackson has already recruited over 30 members; but we're still far from our goal of 1,500 walkers! We're so thankful to all those who are registered and are working hard to recruit more participants and collect pledges.

Walk the Walk that Connects Communities and Enhances Lives
Registration: $30/Adult | $10/Kids (5-14) | FREE/Kids (0-4)

Volunteers Needed: We need volunteers to help with set-up, registration and tear-down at the Walk's northern site in Longmont. Volunteers can still Walk the Walk, if you're available to help please email Kari Buchanan or call (303) 830-1839.

Tune in: Did you hear Cheryl's Colorado Conversation interview this past Sunday on KOOL 105, Mix 100 and 92.5 the Wolf? If not, click here and take a listen. Also, on Saturday, June 30th CBS Channel 4 will be promoting the Vitality Walk. Set your timers and tune-in at 7:15am!

Daily Living Tip

Are you having trouble swinging your legs to get in and out of the car? Place a plastic bag on the seat before getting in. This is an effective and inexpensive "lazy susan" auto seat.

Straight from the Parkinson's Boxers' Hearts

While boxing seems to be counter-intuitive for those living with a neurological disease, studies indicate non-contact boxing programs are not only feasible for those living with Parkinson's disease, they are safe.  Boxing has been shown to improve balance, gait, activities of daily living and quality of life in those living with Parkinson's.

Watch the personal testimonies of participants in the Association's boxing program, Power Punch at Parkinson's.
