Need Help Paying for Parkinson's Medications?

The Patient Access Network (PAN) Foundation was founded in May 2004 as a solution to help the under-insured access the health care they so desperately need to continue living a relatively normal and productive lifestyle.

The PAN Foundation is an independent, national 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing under-insured patients with co-payment assistance through nearly 60 disease-specific programs that give them access to the treatments they need. Building on Parkinson's Disease Awareness Month

Thank you to the following city and state officials for signing a proclamation declaring April as Parkinson's disease awareness month: Governor John Hickenlooper, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, Lakewood Mayor Bob Murphy, Golden Mayor Marjorie Sloan.  A special thanks goes out to Longmont Mayor Dennis Coombs. At the urging of Tom Hubner, leader of the Longmont support group, Mayor Coombs presented the proclamation at the City Council meeting on Tuesday April 14th.

The signing of proclamations by government officials throughout the nation is an important part of increasing Parkinson's disease awareness: one person, one group, one city, one state, one nation at a time. Let's not stop with government officials.  Write a short letter to the editor of your local newspaper to share a part of your story and how Parkinson's disease affects you, your family and your community. Building awareness is critical to finding the ultimate cure for Parkinson's disease.
