Exercise Classes Cancelled for Holidays

All exercise classes offered by the Parkinson Association will be cancelled for the holidays, starting on December 22 and will resume on January 5.

 

Englewood Meridian Support Group Update

The Englewood support group held every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10:00am at the Englewood Meridian will be taking an indefinite hiatus. If you are interested in attending a support group in the area, click here or call the Parkinson Association at (303) 830-1839 for information on surrounding support groups.

Clinical Research in Colorado 
Thinking and Memory in Parkinson's
Research study aimed to better understand how changes in brain activity may be 
related to thinking problems in Parkinson's disease and to determine whether, by stimulating certain areas, thinking and memory can be improved. 

You may qualify to participate in the study if you:
  • Are a person with Parkinson's without thinking and memory problems OR have mild thinking and memory problems 
  • Are between 40-49 years old
  • Have no metal in your body, no metal implants, DBS implants, metal dental work
  • Not taking medications to improve memory
  • Not taking seizure medications
  • Not taking stimulants
