Partners in Parkinson's has been developed by The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research and AbbVie to help patients and caregivers gain knowledge and support for navigating a Parkinson's diagnosis and progression in order to optimize care at every stage of the disease.

Research in Colorado 

Thinking & Memory in Parkinson's Clinical Trial 

This research study aims to better understand how changes in brain activity may be related to thinking problems in Parkinson's disease and to determine
whether, by stimulating certain areas, thinking and memory can be improved.

Individuals who may qualify: 
  • Persons with Parkinson's without thinking and memory problems OR
  • Person's with Parkinson's with mild thinking and memory problems.
  • Between 40-90 years old.
  • No metal in your body, no metal implants, no DBS implants, no surgical
  • pins, no metal dental work(a few fillings and crowns may be ok).
  • No prosthetic joints or limbs.
  • Not taking any medications to improve memory.
  • Not taking stimulants.
  • Not taking seizure medications.
