Despite the dreary weather, our community came together on Thursday, September 11th for a very festive Party in the Garden.
Event guests tried their luck at Win-a-Wine and Give-a-Guess; and purchased mini watering cans for prizes at Pick-a-Palooza during the cocktail and social hour. They also enjoyed swaying to the rhythm of the live band while sipping the event's signature drink, PAR-punch, and tasting passed appetizers. This was only the beginning of the Party. After guests feasted on a delicious meal and dessert they played Heads & Tails for a chance to win an iPad Air followed by a Live Auction. The event concluded with guests planting seeds of generosity, ensuring that the Parkinson Association's programs and services will continue to blossom and flourish in the future.
We are thankful to all of those who braved the weather to join us for this celebration. We are especially thankful to Margaret Melander for providing the signature art-piece for this event; and grateful to her daughter Kelsey who shared with event guests the journey Parkinson's has taken their family on together.
