They Ran, Walked and Rode for Parkinson's
We are very fortunate to have so many friends in our community who so generously give of their time to host events for the Parkinson Association annually. These events raise significant awareness of Parkinson's disease while also generating important funding for the Association's programs and services which support, strengthen and empower our Parkinson's community.
On Saturday, August 23rd, 202 individuals ran or walked the 2nd Annual Colorado Courage 5K Run to support those living courageously with Parkinson's. The event raised $19,555.00 for the Parkinson Association's programs and services. We are deeply grateful to all those who participated in the event, as well as those who generously donated! The success of this event is due to the dedicated work of the, small but mighty, race coordinator team and all their event-day volunteers. Thank you all for your support!

On Sunday, August 24th, 74 riders pedaled from Estes Park to Loveland to raise awareness of Parkinson's in John Jacquinot's 2nd Annual Redneck Ride for Parkinson's. This event has also raised $2,210.00 which enables us to provide scholarships for the Parkinson Association's exercise & activity classes. We could not have done this event without the support of Rocky Mountain Recumbent Bikes and a slew of volunteers, as well as local establishments who hosted the event riders for refreshments along the bike route.
