Parkinson's Research in the News
Clinical Trials in Colorado 

Researchers at the University of Colorado are conducting a clinical trial to explore the effects of different doses of endurance exercise in people with Parkinson's disease. You may be able to participate in this research study if you: 

  • Have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and are not yet taking medication
  • Do not plan to start medication for Parkinson's disease within the next 6 months
  • Are willing to do aerobic exercise on a treadmill
  • Are willing to start exercising immediately or after a delay of 6 months
  • Are 40-80 years old

Congratulations to the Cheyenne Support Group
Exciting news! The Cheyenne support group applied for and was awarded a PCORI grant to study the 'Quality of Care for the Wyoming Parkinson's Community.' Click here to learn more about this fantastic grant opportunity.
 
Lakewood Proclamation Signing 
A big thank you goes out to Debbie Jones, leader of the care partner support group for collaborating with the Lakewood community and Mayor Bob Murphy in signing a proclamation declaring April as Parkinson's Disease Awareness month.
