Global Community Conference on Parkinson's Disease
"Beyond The Limits"
Registration fee reduced to $275!

There is still time to register for the Global Community Conference on Parkinson's Disease: Beyond the Limits (GCC) in Keystone, CO on March 2-4. We are pleased to announce that we have received some generous support that enables us to significantly reduce the registration fee to $275 per conference participant.

This one of a kind conference will bring renowned experts in Parkinson's and related disorders out of their labs and classrooms for a unique opportunity to connect with those interested in Parkinson's disease care and management. Experts in Parkinson's will be gathered together to thoroughly explain what happens as the disease progresses and to pass on to the public new techniques for managing life with the changes brought on by Parkinson's.

Learn more about Parkinson's from world renowned experts including Stanley Fahn, Joseph Jankovich and Dennis Selkoe. Find out what it is like to journey into space from former NASA astronaut Rich Clifford, the only human to walk in space after being diagnosed with Parkinson's.

Walking the walk is the way participants of the Vitality Walk share with others the tenacity they or someone they know with Parkinson's shows with every step taken. "PaGeR"- Parkinson disease Genetic Research

This study is sponsored by National Institute of Health and is aimed to identify possible environmental and genetic risk factors for Parkinson disease.

Who can be enrolled in this study? Patients with Parkinson disease who have at least one alive relative affected by Parkinson disease (if relative does not live in Colorado arrangements can be made for that relative to be seen). The study involves a single 90-minute visit, with neurological examination, questionnaires and a blood draw. The blood samples collected in this project will be used for current and future genetic research studies to discover new genes that cause Parkinson disease.
