Sunday, June 1 | Washington Park in Denver & Sandstone Ranch in Longmont
Two Sites, 2,000 Steps and One Unforgettable Experience
Every step taken by someone with Parkinson's shows their determination to live well with this disease. Every step taken by friends, families, neighbors and co-workers supports those individuals and families who are affected by Parkinson's. Walking the walk is the way participants of the Vitality Walk share with others the tenacity they or someone they know with Parkinson's shows with every step taken. Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 1 and plan to join us as we enhance lives with every step!

Research in Colorado
"PaGeR"- Parkinson disease Genetic Research
This study is sponsored by National Institute of Health and is aimed to identify possible environmental and genetic risk factors for Parkinson disease.
Who can be enrolled in this study? Patients with Parkinson disease who have at least one alive relative affected by Parkinson disease (if relative does not live in Colorado arrangements can be made for that relative to be seen). The study involves a single 90-minute visit, with neurological examination, questionnaires and a blood draw. The blood samples collected in this project will be used for current and future genetic research studies to discover new genes that cause Parkinson disease.
For more information, contact Wendi Legg at (303) 724-8305 or email.
