Global Community Conference on Parkinson's Disease
Go Beyond the Limits
with The Parkinson Association of the Rockies on March 2-4, 2014 in Keystone, Colorado. We are pleased to announce that we landed former NASA astronaut Rich Clifford as a speaker during the conference.
Rich Clifford is a passionate advocate and activist for Parkinson's Disease. He is also a patient since he was first diagnosed with the disease after completing his second spaceflight in 1994. Subsequent to the diagnosis he was assigned to a third space shuttle mission. Conference participants will enjoy The Astronaut's Secret, a documentary focused on the life of Rich Clifford and how he kept his diagnosis of Parkinson's disease a secret for over 17 years.
