The ParkinsonAssociation is looking for support group leaders. No special qualifications are required other than a desire to help others and knowledgeable about Parkinson's disease.  If you are interested in volunteering as a support group leader please email [email protected]

 

The Parkinson Association offers several Support Groups throughout Colorado and we encourage you to to visit other support groups.   

Welcome Dr. Richard Salazar
 We are privileged to welcome Dr. Richard Salazar, a movement disorder specialist, to Colorado.  Dr. Salazar's practice, Parkview Neurology Services, is located in Pueblo, CO.  His clinical practice focuses on movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease and related syndromes, essential tremor, tic disorder, and dystonia with particular interest in deep brain stimulation (DBS) therapy and Botulinum toxin injections. 
 
Dr. Salazar completed his residency in Neurology at Henry Ford Hospital, Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI and completed his speciality training as a fellow in Movement Disorders at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore.
