Had Us a Boot-Scootin' YeeHaw Time!
Many of those who celebrated with us on Thursday, September 19th at the Inn at Hudson Gardens have stated; "By far the best Parkinson Association event yet!"
During the cocktail and social hour guests tried their luck for prizes at Give-a-Guess and Wine Toss, purchased mini cabins for prizes at Pick-a-Palooza, bid on silent auction items, did some boot scootin' to the Wash-Bucket Band - all while they enjoyed festive hors d'oeuvres and signature drinks served in mason jars. Guests were also invited to pose for a picture at the photo booth; and this was just the beginning of the party! After feasting on a delicious meal and enjoying desserts in personal sized skillets guests played Heads & Tails for a chance to win an iPad followed by the Live Auction and then the room filled the 10-gallon hat with their generosity.
While the party was festive and fun it was also an opportunity to celebrate the improvements and enhancements the Parkinson Association has made, and continues to make, to our programs and services - all of which are only accomplished due to the support we receive. Thank you to all those who supported and joined us at Party in the Cabin... and if you missed it, don't worry, another party is on the way! Keep an eye out for invitations to Party for Parkinson's - Party in the House (What House? The Gingerbread House!) to be mailed to you soon.
