Living with or caring for someone with Parkinson's disease (PD)? See if you qualify for a private, online, healthcare market research project to make an impact. Communispace needs 300 honorary advisors on a confidential, online research website: members complete research activities to inform a healthcare company sponsor's development of PD management and caregiver resources. Members may also interact anonymously 24/7 to learn from each other. We need a diverse mix of backgrounds and experiences, so while everyone's voice is valuable, not everyone can join. Take a quick, confidential survey to see if you qualify and check availability for openings.

Exercise Programs Receive a Boost
Thank you to Barbara and Lee Mendel for starting the Mendel Physical Activity Fund dedicated to supporting the Parkinson Association of the Rockies programs which promote physical activity. The Mendel's credit Lee's good health while living with Parkinson's disease to his active lifestyle.  They want to encourage others to invest time and energy into exercise that will keep them mobile for as long as possible.

Class fees cover less than 50% of the total cost to the Parkinson Association to provide a wide array of movement classes. The Mendel's invite you to join them in supporting exercise programs by making a contribution to the Parkinson's Association of the Rockies and designating your gift to go to the Mendel Physical Activity Fund.

In the 1950s and 1960s, kitchen appliances, dishwashers, garage door openers, toasters, microwave ovens, and washer/dryers for our clothes started to make our lives easier and give us more time for our family, community, or just for ourselves to enrich our lives. Many of these items were considered luxuries when they were first introduced, but would you consider living without them now? Continue Reading
