Customized Medical Parkinson's Bracelet
The Parkinson Association of the Rockies is pleased to announce the "Care Medical History Bracelet" that has recently been customized for the Parkinson patient.
This easy to use medical bracelet allows you to create a personal health record to have with you at all times. The bracelet has been proven to be lifesaving in an emergency situation, allowing first responders instant access to medication lists, emergency contacts, allergies and much more. The bracelet can be edited from any computer, MAC or PC. No internet access is required as the program works directly from the bracelet and saves information to the bracelet.
Parkinson specific software, with Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and shunt information, EKG, EEG, MRI, warnings and instructions is now on the device. The "Medication Page" has a list of safe and contra-indicated medications for the Parkinson's patient. Read More
