Protocol - Ray Park
The City of Newnan Ray Park construction is scheduled for completion mid July 2014. The park now has a beautiful pedestrian boardwalk, an eight foot walking path, pergola, and when finished it will have improved accessibility and a playground area. This project is funded by SPLOST 2007.
The 2013 Annual Report to the Community is now available. 2013 was another fantastic year for the City of Newnan. We ended the year in a positive financial position while undertaking 30 projects with a combined value in excess of $33,000,000. While there were many successful projects and endeavors, the City achieved a tremendous milestone in lowering our Insurance Services Office (ISO) Rating to a Class 3. This will have a lasting positive impact on our entire community. I am proud to lead our team in such a vibrant and active community and look forward to even greater things in 2014. - Cleatus Phillips, City Manager Click here for Annual Report

RiverFest GA in Newnan
Main Street Newnan
partnered with Friends of Chattahoochee Bend State Park to bring Riverfest GA to Newnan. It was a great opportunity to showcase downtown Newnan to 400 paddlers across the state. There was fun had by all who attended the event with a 30 foot pool setup in downtown.
