Projects 
Protocol - Public Safety Complex
The City of Newnan Public Safety Complex construction
is moving forward. This projects main funding source is SPLOST 2013. The project team is comprised of The Potts Company as the 
CM at Risk, Clark Patterson Lee as the Architect and
Comprehensive Services as the City's representative.
Construction began November 13, 2014 and is scheduled
to be completed by the end of 2014. Report on projects
 
 What's new this quarter?
Gateway Signage Program: This project consists of the design and construction of gateway signage in certain areas of the City. It will include kiosks and directional signs as well as the main gateway sign that will be located at the City limits. The Downtown Development Authority will be installing 2 downtown kiosks in early summer. The other signs will be phased in. Contact

Wadsworth Use Study: Currently this facility houses the Newnan Police Department. Carter  Watkins Architectural firm is under contract to design a plan/use for the building for when the Newnan Police Department relocates to the new Public Safety Complex. Contact  

 Downtown Wi-Fi: Currently waiting on additional feedback from NuLink as to what installing Wi-Fi in the downtown area would entail and what the expense would be. Contact
Feature Event
Newly designed City marketing folders 
New this year the City added The Mayor's business Luncheon to its list of great events. This luncheon was a fantastic way for government and businesses to network. Mayor Brady was the gracious host and the event was held at the Newnan Centre the perfect venue for this corporate event. Bill Cheney, chief economist for Manulife Asset Management was the guest speaker for Newnan Mayor Keith Brady's Economic Business Luncheon at the Newnan Centre on Lower Fayetteville Road on Thursday. More than a hundred local business leaders attended the event.
