General Body Meeting This Tuesday!

This is Tania, your Leadership Chair, reminding you that our first general body meeting will take place Tuesday, October 8, 6-8 pm, UC Red River/Concho. We will have a guest speaker from The Leadership Center highlight the opportunities available to students, a networking activity, and a presentation on relational leadership.

WIL Community Service
If you have any community service ideas that you would like to incorporate into our organization's fall semester schedule, please voice your suggestions to your squad leader! We will be discussing this further at the general body meeting.

WIL Membership Requirements

So far it looks like most of you are on track to be a member in good standing. We recommend that you hopefully have at least 2 requirements done so far. By the end of next week (Oct. 18th) we recommend you have at least 3 done. Need a reminder of the requirements? Refer to your program from our kick off meeting or you can download the requirements on our website. Be sure to ask your squad leader if you have any questions.

 WIL at Bed Races
Good luck to our three WIL bed races teams! Even if you did not sign up to compete, you can still cheer on our teams on October 10, 7 pm, Maverick Stadium. Last year one of our teams made it to the finals, so let's defend our title and keep pushing forward.

Don't Forget!
Our next Maversity opportunity is on Wednesday, October 16, Noon-1 pm, UC Palo Pinto.
As a WIL member you are required to attend a minimum of one of these workshops to satisfy your requirements. Everyone is encouraged to attend multiple diversity workshops; however, you will only receive credit for one.

Oozeball
Thanks to those that represented WIL in Oozeball last week, it looked like everyone had a blast. Many of our members have now reached 3/9 requirements for this semester. Great job!
