General WIL Updates!
|
Hello ladies, we have completed orientation/orientation make-ups and are off to a great start! Registration for special WIL teams has now closed (Carnaval, Oozeball, Bed Races, CLI, and Lunafest). Congratulations to those who have signed up to represent WIL in Oozeball, Karen Blair will be emailing you information regarding teams shortly.
Numerous members have expressed concerns regarding why sign-up for Homecoming was not included in the previous newsletter that contained registration for several of the other campus traditions. We will provide you with the opportunity to register with WIL for Homecoming in the middle of October. We are glad to see so many members interested in participating! More information will be shared in future newsletters.
- See you soon!

Don't Forget!
Don't forget that Multicultural Affairs hosts Maversity, a great diversity workshop, which has their next event, Wednesday, October 16th, Noon-1pm, UC Palo Pinto. As a WIL Member you are required to attend a minimum of one of these workshops to satisfy your requirements.

Carnaval
We want to thank those who attended Carnaval, and all of the staff and volunteers who helped make the event such a success. Kudos to all of you, let's keep up the momentum!

WIL Special Teams Thanks to all who signed up to represent WIL at Oozeball and Bed Races. Be sure to stop by these UTA campus traditions to cheer on your fellow team members. We have 3 teams participating at each. Unfortunately, deadline to sign up has passed.
If you were one of the first 20 to register for the Certified Leaders Institute and/or Lunafest, you should have received your confirmation emails by now. Wait list students have also been notified. If you did not hear from us, please email martinezlc@uta.edu
