 | Finding Funding: Tools for Administrators
 February 5, 2013 10:00-11:30amNorthwest Science Building, Computer Lab B127

On February 5, 2013, FAS Research Development will offer an instructional workshop to demonstrate how to use funding search databases Pivot and Foundation Directory Online.  Targeted to FAS administrators--but open to all--this workshop provides a basic working knowledge of how to perform a funding search.  Participants will learn how to (1) gather information to optimize a search, (2) find and navigate the two funding opportunity databases; and (3) set up funding alerts, save searches and share results with others.   Administrators interested in attending this workshop may register on the Research Administration Services iSite.  Registration is required.   FAS Research Development offers a number of grantsmanship tools and resources for faculty and administrators, including links to funding databases and guides, proposal development tools and resources, a funding spotlight that highlights upcoming deadlines for notable funding opportunities, and an online proposal library with samples of successful proposals by FAS faculty.  Please check out  our website for more information on the services and resources provided by FAS Research Development. |
