Re: Panel discussion, workshop, and high school fair to prepare CSFP parents and students for the high school admission and selection process.
Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) will be hosting a workshop on October 17, 2015 for parents/guardians and 6th, 7th, 8th grade CSFP students. The workshop's goal is to provide you with the resources and tools necessary to secure the best high school placement for your child. The workshop will be held on:

The morning segment of the workshop will include separate panel discussion for parents and students:
The Parent Presentation will feature speakers from magnet, district schools, charter schools,
faith-based schools, and independent schools to cover issues of high school readiness, application and testing requirements, parental obligations, responsibilities and financial assistance.
The Student Presentation will be an interactive panel discussion and workshop on high school options, admissions and scholarship test taking tips, essential interviewing skills, high school performance expectations, and a timeline for completing all admissions paperwork.
The afternoon segment of the workshop includes the 2015 Philly High School Fair, hosted by Great Philly Schools, with representatives from area public, private, and parochial high schools. This year's high school fair will be held at the below location:
