Arrival Time:Students to arrive in their classrooms by 6:30 SHARP!
Band students to arrive at sanctuary by 6:15 to tune up.

This program is MANDATORY FOR ALL STUDENTS!!! Non-attendance is not permitted

 

PROGRAM ATTIRE: 

1-4th Grade:         

Boys:   Khaki pants and solid colored (no logos/markings) black shirt

Girls:   Khaki pants or skirts and solid colored (no logos/markings) black shirt

 

Middle School:

Boys:   Black or dark colored slacks, dress shoes, white shirt, and a tie

Girls:   Black or dark colored skirts and a white blouse

 

Raceboy  Race For Education Assembly

 

Our Race for Education Awards Assembly  revealed our Race for Education total to be $27,523.50.   

Thank you each and everyone that made this possible!  The thank you receipts will be going out in the mail very soon!  Race contributions are still be accepted! 

 
FEAST FOLLOW-UP: 

Friday, November 22 was our annual Thanksgiving Feast and what a great time we had! A great big thank you goes out to all the parents that came out to help. You helped in several ways from peeling potatoes, decorating the room, setting tables, serving the meal or cleaning it up afterwards.  We couldn't have had such a nice day of thanksgiving without you. The biggest thanks of all go to the parents that coordinated this event for all of us. Thank you: Christy Landis, Amy Mozzone, Margaret Ewerth and Lisa Thomas.

 
 

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Our school has been awarded funds under Pennsylvania's Improvement Tax Credit Program.  We have included a link below that has all of the scholarship qualifications if you wish to apply.  Please note all requested documents MUST be turned in on/before Friday, December 13th at 9:00 a.m.   

 

Please note that just because an application is received does not guarantee award.  Incomplete/late applications will not be considered.

PARKING LOT REMINDERS

We do not want our students to be at risk when some of our parents are not following the safety/parking lot rules that we have set in place.


Please remember for morning drop off all parents MUST unload the children at the cone area where our recess staff is on duty. 
DO NOT drop your child off by the garage or any other location prior to the cones.  Stay in line to follow the traffic flow back out of our property.

Speed Limit
throughout the entire parking lot is only
5 mph.

There is NO PARKING (or idling) in the stripped fire zone areas by the school entry doors.

The driveway on the school side entry is
EXIT only.  This is no longer an entrance, please adhere to the signs and arrows of traffic flow.

SPECIAL CHAPEL - Local Author Visit -parents welcome:

On January 8th at 9:00 a.m. Vicki Chandler will be doing chapel for our students. She'll share a Christian perspective about bullying. Personal and professional experiences led her to write a picture book to empower bystanders of bullying.  Her son (now 33 yrs. old) was bullied throughout his school years. As a teacher and Christian school administrator, she felt frustrated when bullying continued despite prevention efforts. As a professor at Cairn University, she gained insight into why bystanders are reluctant to intervene.

Her picture book Heart Eyes: Beth and the Bullies is the first in a series. Each book will focus on a different reason children are bullied: a student who has a learning disability, a girl who has ADHD, a student who is an English language learner, a student who has health conditions, a student who is poor, etc.

 

Parents are invited to attend chapel on January 8th (9:00 a.m.). Vicki will stay to talk to interested parents after chapel. Books will be available for purchase (for $8.00).

FINANCIAL ACCOUNT REMINDERS

Just a reminder as we get close to our Christmas vacation that your tuition payment will still be expected on the due date of your financial agreement even if school should be closed for vacation.   Late fees will be assessed for payments that are received late.  For those of you on the half year payment plan your 2nd payment is due by January 15th.
 HOT LUNCH MENU

The new hot lunch & hot dog order forms for December & January were sent home. 

Orders are due Monday morning by 9:00 a.m. no late orders accepted, no change or refunds given.  For Middle School parents - if you happen to forget what the hot lunch menu selections were you can refer to the Cafeteria Section on Jupiter Grades to see what the menu is (please note - you cannot order from that site, but can only view the menu)
