Operation Christmas Child
We received this note below from the lady we teamed up with for our Operation Christmas Child Project....
Dear Open Door:
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the help of your 8th grade students. They were a delight to have at our relay center. They were excellent. We started off with a little training session to teach them how to pack the cartons. They obviously are good listeners because when we checked their work at the end of 2 hours-- it was PERFECT! (Many of our adult volunteers don't do that well.) Not only did they pack all of the shoe box gifts they brought, they also packed everything else we received while they were with us. That was an amazing amount of work. I really appreciated their help and wonderful attitude. We were delighted to have them join us.
We enjoyed lots of treats and had a great time. We would love to partner with you again next year. Finally, thank you so much for all of YOUR help and support.
Sincerely,
Christy
