FINANCIAL ACCOUNT REGULATIONS

   Please reference the "Regulations for Financial Accounts" received by all families in their registration packets.  It states: Quarterly report cards will not be issued if the financial account (tuition, music lessons, rentals) is in arrears OR if money, library books or textbooks are owed by the student. 
     A "report card hold" list will be given to classroom teachers in advance of parent/teacher conferences.
 
  

 


PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
GRADES 1-8 / Thursday, October 31st & Friday, November 1st
  
  
Just a reminder to refer to your Parent/Teacher Conference Date Reminder notice for your specific date/appointment time.  We request that you come without your child to your conference.  Please note that each conference is allotted 15 minutes.  Please be on time to help the teachers keep on track for your conference and those scheduled after you.
 
Thursday (31st) is an early dismissal day 11:45 am (no after school care provided)
Friday (1st)-no school due to conferences
 

JOE CORBI ORDER PICKUP REMINDER & INFO
  
If you turned in orders for the Joe Corbi sale pickup time has begun.  All FOOD items will be ready for pick up in the Glass Enclosure of the church entrance TODAY at 12:15.  All food items will remain in the glass enclosure for pick-up (due to lack of frig/freezer space). 
  
Due to an issue at the Joe Corbi's plant the GIFT items were delayed and will be arriving around noon on Thursday (11/1).  Since we are closed due to conferences the gift items will be placed in your child's classroom for pick up at your conference (grades 1-8) or next week.
  
The prize winners will be announced next week!

THANKSGIVING FEAST DAY COMING!
(Grades K-8 - Friday November 22nd)
  

We are looking forward to our upcoming student/faculty Thanksgiving Feast.  For those of you who signed up on your Service Hour Form to help with the feast, you should have received an email this week with the link to sign up for your area of help.  Next week be watching the Weekly Connections for the information on what each student needs to bring in for their feast day.  There will also be a link provided for those of you who want to help but did not select the Feast on your Service Hour Form.

Just a reminder that all orders must be turned in by each individual student to their own classroom teacher (do not combine orders).  Exact payment should be made, since no change or refunds are given.

 

Orders are due Monday morning at 9:00 a.m.

Samaritans' Purse -
Operation Christmas Child
 Last week our Lower & Middle School Students heard from a representative from Samaritan's Purse.  She gave the students a handout regarding the Operation Christmas Child program, and gave them a challenge to see which class could bring in the most filled shoeboxes to be sent overseas for this program. We are thrilled to be a part of this ministry, and last year we even received correspondence from a child who was the recipient of a gift box from ODCA!  We encourage you to make this a family project in making a gift box (we have extra boxes available in the office if you need one).  If you are not able to put together a box but would still like to be a part of this ministry - it costs $7.00/shoebox to ship them overseas. Would you consider supporting the cause by sending in funds to help ship what is donated?  If so, please send your cash contribution in an envelope marked (Shipping Samaritan's Purse)
 
Last day to submit filled shoebox or cash mailing donation is Friday, November 15th 9:00 a.m.
