Thanks for signing up for our Weekly Connections, read on to find out what is going on in/around our school!
Parents Prayer

Parents Prayer will be held on Monday mornings from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. starting on September 23rd.  The group meets in the conference room which is located in the church office hallway.   We welcome all parents to come for as long or as little as your schedule permits.  We are also very diligent at ending on time.

 

This is a wonderful time of blessing as we uplift our school, faculty and student body in prayer.

Kids Stuff Book Sale
 
Please review the Kid's Stuff book that came home last week and if you are interested in purchasing it, please keep the book and return your payment tomorrow in the amount of $25.00 cash (or check made payable to Open Door Christian Academy). 
 
If you are not interested in purchasing the book, please return the book with your child to school tomorrow. 
 
 
Joe Corbis Sale

The Joe Corbi's packets are coming home today.  Corbi's is a school sale we have done for the past 3 years.  Please note this is totally optional, but we welcome families to participate.

 

Sale Dates:  Your order form & payment is due by October 1st. 

Delivery Date:  October 30th from 11:30-3:00 (narthex glass enclosure)

 

Last year we earned over $2000 for the school from this sale.

 

This year each student will have the opportunity to tape Dr. Dawes to the wall for each 5 items sold.

 

Please visit the display table that will be in the lobby on Back to School night!

ALL SCHOOL DINNER - Friday, Sept 27th
      
Dinner reservation time has begun for our All School Dinner!  The link below is the order form that was sent home last week.  There are still seating times available!
  
  
We encourage you to pre-order your tickets now!  Advance ticket sales are due by Wednesday, September 25th 9:00 a.m.  Tickets will also be for sale at the door for an extra $1.00/per ticket - and seating will be done based on availability.  Some dinner seatings sold out last year - so purchasing your tickets in advance is the way to go.
  
For those of you who checked to help at the All School Dinner on your service hour form - you should have received an email from Sign Up Genius so you can select your date/time of service help.  If you did not receive an email, or you would like to help with this event,  please contact Lisa Thomas at odpa2013@gmail.com .  Help is still needed before or on the day of the event!
