What colleges are you considering and what do you hope to study?
I am considering four engineering colleges: MIT, Purdue, Rose Hulman, and UC Berkeley.
What has been your favorite Brebeuf experience?
My favorite experiences at Brebeuf have been the experiences I have shared with friends. One major component of the Brebeuf experience is the people. My fellow Braves make Brebeuf the amazing environment it is. For this reason, I am not able to pick out any particular experience because everything has been outstanding.
Favorite food?
Pizza
Favorite book and/or movie?
Books and movies are fun past times, but I choose to Make when I have free time. I consider myself a member of the Maker community. I consider my favorite projects equatable to other's favorite books or movies. I love to build.

Student Council Blood Drive
|
Brebeuf's Student Council will once again sponsor our annual blood drive in support of the Indiana Blood Center. The drive will be set up in the MPR on November 15, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Our goal is to surpass last year's collection of 90 pints of blood.
Any 17 or 18 year-old student may participate, and 15 &16 year-olds may participate with a parent permission slip that can be picked up in the Dean's Office. We also gladly welcome parents and family to give during this day.
If you have any questions, please call Brenda Adams, 317-524-7157.

As families drive onto the Brebeuf Jesuit campus next week, they might notice memorial crosses on the lawn representing the Jesuit martyrs who died fighting political oppression during the Salvadoran Civil War, with the largest group dying in a massacre on November 16, 1989.
Brebeuf Jesuit will also honor Ignatian values next week by sending one of the largest high school delegations to the national Ignatian Teach-In for Justice event in Washington, D.C., where Ignatian educators and students will gather to discuss important issues of social reform.
Brebeuf community members are invited to a special prayer service with our student and faculty Ignatian Teach-In representatives at 11:10 a.m. (during the PRT) on Friday, November 15, before our representatives depart at noon for Washington, D.C. Our representatives will return Monday, November 18, after spending a day on Capitol Hill.

Dad's Club Sponsored Athletic Programs
|
|
As has been done for several years running, the Brebeuf Jesuit Dads Club is sponsoring the production of a printed athletic program to be distributed at home athletic events. With nearly 85 percent of Brebeuf's 750 students participating in at least one sport, the school will host more than 300 athletic events this year. We are excited to welcome Brebeuf families and the thousands of visitors we have to campus to showcase our amazing athletic facilities, our school spirit, and our pride in being Brebeuf Braves.
The athletic program at Brebeuf is made possible in large part due to the generosity of parents, alumni, corporate sponsors and friends. Gifts made to Brebeuf Jesuit on behalf of this effort will be acknowledged with a recognition piece in the athletic program.
To view and print a summary sheet detailing the giving levels available and the corresponding recognition piece sizes, click here.
We are happy to customize your message to include your company's logo, contact information and a note of encouragement from you to the Braves or any particular student athlete. Gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, and you will receive an official acknowledgment letter from the school for gift substantiation purposes.
Please send a completed response form, as well as your gift to:
Erica Riley, Director of Annual Giving
Brebeuf Jesuit
2801 W. 86th Street
Indianapolis, IN 46268
Materials must be submitted by November 18, 2013, for inclusion in the winter athletic program.
Thank you again for your continued support of Brebeuf Jesuit athletics.
Go Braves!

Senior students have been notified via home mail, email, daily announcements, reminders in class meetings, flyers, and even in tweets that they need to make their appointments and sit for their senior picture for the yearbook with Prestige Portraits by November 21, 2013.
If your student does not sit for his or her portrait by that date, he or she will not appear in this school year's yearbook.
Call (317) 829-2088 or go online to www.PrestigeIndiana.com immediately if your student hasn't made an appointment. They are booking up fast, and we want to assure every senior is photographed.
Please email Ms. Moore, the Yearbook Instructor, at hmoore@brebeuf.org if you have any questions or concerns.

PREP is a summer engagement program for middle schoolers that will introduce our outstanding Brebeuf offerings and faculty to a younger crowd. These summer workshops for 6th-8th graders will provide middle school students with engaging activities and experiences to enhance their summer vacation. We are still in the faculty recruitment phase, but check back this winter on brebeuf.org (and keep an eye on your inboxes!) for the workshop information. We appreciate you passing along this exciting development to your friends and neighbors who might be interested in introducing their kids to Brebeuf. If you have questions or suggestions, email John Brady and Hadley Moore (Prep's directors) at prep@brebeuf.org.

Show your senior student how proud you are of him or her by buying a senior ad in this year's Totem, Brebeuf's yearbook.
It's easy - go to www.yearbookforever.com, search for Brebeuf, and design and pay for your own ad right online! The website has a number of templates, and it is very user-friendly. The deadline for ad creation and submission is January 15, 2014. In order to get the yearbook delivered in the spring (the students' preference), it must be submitted in pieces throughout the year, so we regret that we cannot extend this deadline.
If you would like help designing your ad, or have questions or concerns regarding the process, please email Hadley Moore, Yearbook Instructor, at hmoore@brebeuf.org.
