Grandson Chase Samuel Davis is born.
Kingdom Rain Family:
We rejoice with Jim and Nancy Davis on the birth of their third grand child, "Chase Samuel Davis". He was born to their son and daughter in law, Matthew and Melissa Davis of Broken Arrow, OK on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 4:40 PM, weighing 9 lbs 2 oz and 20 3/4 inches long.
Chase means "Hunter"
Samuel means "Heard of God; Asked of God; Named of God"
We Bless: Chase Samuel, God answered our prayers. He Heard our petitions as we sought His face to bring forth a child for Matthew and Melissa. We are "thankful and grateful" to the One who is God and He hears.
Now may this child, a son who is a Hunter and bears Your Name, be one who seeks out truth in all things, Who searches for and searches out and sees with greater perspectives and understanding. May Chase
Samuel who has been born in a prophetic age be a prophetic voice and a prophetic gift to the earth. And may He always hear the Lord and say "Here I am Lord!" Rise up Chase Samuel and be the Huntsman
God created you to be.
Congratulations!

We are Moving Towards the Festival of Lights,
Supernatural Miracles; Hanukkah Sunday, December 6
How Great is our God! Sunday night as we gathered together, listening to Holy Spirit and being led by the heart of God, we entered into a greater expression of His love. There is a move of God on the earth and He is prophetically showing us the way to advance through the storm of darkness into His provision on the other side.
We will go under and through the storm like one who is surfing on the waves! You do this by trusting God who is the author of this HOUR ~ We must continue to yield and submit to the promptings and the leading's of Holy Spirit to keep entering into His Light and then be His Light!
God has "Resurrected" and is "Redeeming" His Feast times on the earth. At Kingdom Rain we celebrate God's Times and Timing in the Feast. This Sunday, December 6 at sundown, we enter into an eight day celebration of Hanukkah; The Feast of Dedication also called the Festival of Lights. This has become one of our most favorite times to share and celebrate with the body of Christ.
This week, we will be sending out a few emails to highlight Hanukkah and why it is not just for the Jewish community but for all those who believe in Christ Jesus. Linda Hardacre also put a detailed teaching, in the article block below, for you to receive Hanukkah.
We are one new man. Let us FULLY enter into this "marker moment" move of God during Hanukkah.
Hanukkah; A People's Response of Thanksgiving
Hanukkah is set according to the lunar Biblical Hebrew calendar, meaning it doesn't correspond to a specific date in the modern American Gregorian calendar. Hanukkah lasts for eight days and is celebrated from the 25th day of Kislev to the second day of Tevet. Hanukkah is a celebrated response with great thanksgiving to God
The miracle of Hanukkah commemorates the Jewish people's successful rebellion against the Greeks in the Maccabean War in 162 BCE. A small band of Jews, the Maccabees, triumphed over the forces of King Antiochus IV. A ritual cleansing and re-dedication of the Temple occurred after the Jewish people's victory. As the Maccabees rededicated the desecrated Temple in Jerusalem there was only enough consecrated oil to keep the Menorah lamp burning for one however it miraculously burned for eight until new oil could be made.
It is believed that there was only enough consecrated oil to keep the lamp burning for one day but the small bottle of oil miraculously lasted for eight days.
We receive by celebrating Hanukkah the gift which opens the door for miracles of supernatural increase.
With Great Expectancy in the Lord,
Rick and Mary Beth McElroy

About Hanukkah (Written for Children)
By: Mary Beth McElroy
Hanukkah is the Jewish Feast of Lights or Feast of Dedication. The Hebrew word Hanukkah means dedication. The holiday begins on the eve of the 25th day of the Hebrew Month of Kislev and lasts eight days. Hanukkah usually falls in the month of December, but occasionally can start in November.
Before Jesus was born, 165 years before he was born, A mean King, named Antiochus, took the land of Israel. He wanted to kill all the Jews and keep them from worshiping the ONE TRUE GOD. He went into the Temple and slaughtered a pig and put it on the altar. This was not good. This was against what the Jews believed and what God had ever told them to do. He also took all the oil that was in the Temple that was used to light the Menorah, and they opened it all, poured it out and cursed it. Said bad things.

The Festival of Lights: Hanukkah (Chanukah)
By: Celebration: The Book Of Jewish Festivals
Put together by Linda Hardacre
Beginning at Sundown December 6, 2015
Ending at Sundown December 14, 2015
Dear Kingdom Rain, I would like to share with you the whole story of how "The Festival of Lights" HANUKKAH came about. There was more than one incident that led up to the MIRACLE, and I didn't know which one to tell you so I'm including them all as an attachment. If you would read one or two sections a night up to when Hanukkah begins you will then understand the MIRACLE that happened to cause this wonderful celebration. Enjoy!
Blessings, Linda Hardacre
The Festival of Lights: Hanukkah (Chanukah)
Hanukkah which was Romanized as the Festival of Lights, is at once the best known and least known to the Jewish holidays. The customs of Chanukah, such as lighting the menorah, playing dreidel, eating potato latkes, and giving and getting Chanukah gelt (money) and gifts are familiar to all its celebrants. The story behind the holiday, of how the menorah in the Holy Temple stayed lit for eight days with very little oil, is recounted each year as we light the Chanukah candles.
The events that led up to this miracle, however, as well as the historical setting of Hanukkah (Chanukah), are often forgotten.
The Story Behind Hanukkah (Chanukah)
The story of Hanukkah (Chanukah) actually begins in year 336 B.C. when Alexander the Great conquered the Persian Empire, which included Judea (modern-day Israel).
The Jews' relationship with Alexander was long and fruitful. He sponsored many sacrifices in the Temple. Alexander promised the Jews that his empire would not interfere with their religious practices both in Judea and in the Diaspora which is the area outside Palestine settled by Jews, and he exempted the Jews from the royal tribute during the Sabbatical year. The Jews were also invited to participate in the Greek army, which shows that their loyalties were not suspect.
Alexander requested, as was the custom, that his statue be placed on the Temple mount as a symbol of Jewish loyalty to the Empire. The Jews, with their strong aversion to graven images, demurred but offered instead to name all their first-born male children Alexander.
There is so much more history about "What Is the Festival of Lights?".

Reception for Mr. and Mrs. Chad Heil
|
|
Dear Beloved Kingdom Rain Family,
We are overwhelmed in the goodness of God in celebrating
the coming union of Covenant Marriage of our daughter,
Miss Elizabeth McElroy to Mr. Chad Heil.
Chad and Elizabeth chose a beautiful venue for their
wedding on Saturday, December 5. This venue has limited seating
and capacity; therefore, the invitation list to the wedding is also limited.
It is in our hearts for All to celebrate with us in great thanksgiving
this beautiful gift of marriage. Thus, we will have a reception with our Kingdom Rain Family on Sunday, December 13th at 4:30 PM.
This will be a time to share in praise and worship together with the
Heil's as well as release blessings and inspired prophecy by
the Holy Spirit. We will move into our Sunday dinner and worship
at our normal time of 5:30 PM.
With all our love,
Rick and Mary Beth McElroy

Thank God for Prophets, But Test the Spirits
By Steve Strang
Prophetic gifts are the subject of controversy and misunderstanding, but God promised to pour out His Spirit.
In the day of Pentecost, Peter said that moment was the fulfillment of the prophecy in Joel that God "will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; (and) your sons and your daughters shall prophesy" (Acts 2:17). In Ephesians 4:11, the apostle Paul listed prophets in the five ministry gifts, apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists and teachers.
As the Holy Spirit has renewed the charismata (gifts) to the church in the last century, there has also been a new understanding of the gift of prophecy. In the last 40 years, we have tried to cover the move of the Spirit and the various ministries God has raised up, including those giving prophetic words. This isn't to say prophecy totally died out in the church. Many people spoke prophetically to the church even if they weren't called prophets. Didn't Martin Luther speak prophetically in the 17th century when he emphasized salvation through faith?
