March 20th, 2015

Living as missional people means we see every moment as a divine opportunity to exemplify the character in Christ. In the book of Ruth, we read of a woman named Naomi who knew her convictions, practiced her customs, and lived with consistency. This weekend, we will learn how to redeem the routine and see the mundane become miraculous. Join us for one of our 4 services and remember to invite a friend!

Above and Beyond

March 23 is the one year anniversary of our Above and Beyond Capital Campaign. Your generosity and faithfulness have been incredible! To date, we have received $ 4,281,653.00 which is 39.6% of our three year pledges of $10.8 million. With everyone's continued commitment to sacrificial and generous giving, we will meet and even exceed our goal. What a testimony of answered prayer and God's blessing!

Much is occurring on the building site. Despite all the rain, the foundations have been poured for our worship/multi-purpose room. Pre-cast concrete walls are going up today. Electrical is being placed in the ground in the children's area. Keep praying for good weather. Weather permitting, our main walls will be standing and the new west parking lot paved by Easter.

Thank you again for all you have done and will continue to do for our risen Lord, His Kingdom and the world which He has called us to reach. Our investment in this ministry will be rewarded many times over in people reached, families rescued, and disciples made. Join us in praying, that we will keep the main thing the main thing : to go Above and Beyond to reach the last one for Jesus Christ. This is what our church stands for and what we, His people, are committed to in our lifetime. May God continue to pour out His blessing on all we seek to do in His name!

Prayer Event for our Local Community

March 30 at 6:30 in room 2205

Join us as we come together to pray for our local community with a particular emphasis on the communities we will serve with Next Step Ministry this summer. Attendees will move through prayer stations to pray individually for Lexington and the state of South Carolina.

Who is invited? Students and leaders who served with Next Step last summer, families who want to engage in the mission of God through prayer, and anyone who has a heart for seeing God's Mission accomplished amongst the marginalized and the lost in Lexington and South Carolina.

How long will it last?  Because participants will move through stations at their own pace, you may come and go as your schedule permits.

Questions? Contact Chelsea Crocker at chelsea.crocker@nextstepministries.com or 803-250-0283.
