 March 6th, 2015
In Missio Dei, our God rescues His people from slavery, bondage and sin. This weekend, we will talk about Moses leading God's people out of Egypt. Along the way, they crossed the Red Sea and were baptized with Moses as they "passed through the waters." We will celebrate that we too have "passed through the waters" when we were baptized with Jesus. We will be invited to remember and reaffirm our own baptism. If you have never been baptized and have made a decision to follow Jesus Christ as your Lord, you will have the opportunity to be baptized. Be praying for this weekend as we all reaffirm our commitment to the Mission of God.

Men of Mt Horeb Between now and March 23rd, there will be an opportunity for the men of Mt Horeb to join an accountability and discipleship group. If you are looking for community and support ,this is a great ministry. These groups are meant to be small, organic and intentional groups of men who spend weekly time with one another in two specific areas. 1.) Accountability: Based on a card with 10 questions, men will be given the opportunity to find a safe place to be held responsible to Godly living. I believe this will impact their personal relationship with God and others around them. 2.) Discipleship: Simply put... the process of looking more and more like Jesus. This will be accomplished through curriculum, fellowship and challenge. If you would be interested in joining a group, they will be officially advertised on Sat/Sun March 21/22. If you would like to reserve a spot email trevor@mthorebumc.com. Right now we have 6 available groups that will be meeting at various times, days and locations to fit your need
