This weekend we continue our series called Father Knows Best. Pastor Jeff Kersey set the series in motion a week ago by introducing a God that comes full of grace and truth. Our Father God knows what is best for us and He communicates it to us by telling us what life is really like and also by showing us mercy and love. Pastor Brian Rainwater will address how we handle God's blessings in all four of our services this weekend. Our Heavenly Father does not give us good gifts to bless us alone, it is meant to be a blessing to others as well.

Please join us for our 5:45pm service on Saturday or our 8:00am, 9:10am, 10:40am services on Sunday. God Bless you all and we look forward to worshiping with you all soon!

Parking at Mt Horeb

We have designated the area immediately west of the sanctuary for people needing Handicap and Senior parking. We have Senior and Handicap parking slips available for you to put on the dashboard of your car. If you would like one, they are available at the Welcome Desk. The new parking lot, further to the west, will be open for general parking, which can be accessed through a different entrance off Old Cherokee Road.

For those entering by Foxglen Road, we have designated the area immediately behind the Family Life Center as a "drop off zone." For safety reasons, there will be no parking behind the Family Life Center on Sunday mornings. If you are dropping off, please turn on your flashers so that our parking lot crew will know you are just dropping off. We will have golf carts available to bring people in from the ball field and Promise Land. We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we work hard to make our parking lot as friendly and efficient as possible.

10:10 Bridge Program

Did you know that Mt. Horeb has an After School Program in our building one day a week to support children from New Providence Elementary School who are at risk of not reaching their potential?

Volunteer Mentors show up for 3 hours, once a week, to impact the life of an elementary school aged child by assisting with homework and modeling the love of Christ. This program was recently spotlighted in an article in The Advocate. In order to add more children, we need more mentors. Will you join the team and help change the life of a child? To volunteer or for more information, contact Vicki at vicki@mthorebumc.com.

Contemporary Night of Worship

There is a living God who literally breathes life into existence. The first breath that filled our lungs was God's very own exhalation into us as created beings. His very name is breath itself - YHWH. God breathes. Join us for a night of worship led by our Contemporary Worship Team featuring highlights from our Creative Team.
