January 9th, 2015

We are pressured, from outside influences, daily to make certain choices or decisions that may not be in line with the kind of direction God would give us. So how do we know what our heavenly Father would think is best when it comes to who to trust, what path to take for the future, life's purpose, how to handle blessings and who and how to love? This weekend, Pastor Jeff looks to our Father for the best guidance. Invite someone to join you right now for one of the 4 services this weekend!

What is some of the best knowledge or advice your father has ever given you? It could be funny or serious, so either email your response to trevor@mthorebumc.com or tweet using the hashtag #FKB2015

Parking This Weekend at Mt Horeb

As construction continues at Mt. Horeb, more of our parking lot has been fenced off and unavailable to house cars. Starting this week, we are designating the area immediately west of the sanctuary for people needing Handicap and Senior parking. The new parking lot, further to the west will be open for general parking, which can be accessed through a different entrance off Old Cherokee Road.

For those entering by Foxglen Road, we have designated the area immediately behind the Family Life Center as a "drop off zone." For safety reasons, there will be no parking behind the Family Life Center on Sunday mornings. Cars utilizing this zone can drop off people before circling around and finding a parking place on either the Ball field or Promise Land. We will have golf carts available to bring people in from these two areas. We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we work hard to make our parking lot as friendly and efficient as possible.
