Annual Bike Rally, April 28

The Annual BAC Bike Rally will be held Sunday April, 28th from 1-5pm behind the Watauga Country Swim Complex. We encourage the whole family to come out and enjoy the activities that include: training wheel clinic, kids ride safety clinic, bumps and jumps, a Beginner Women's Ride as well as general groups rides and more.

Rocky Knob Grand Opening, May 5th

The Watauga County Tourism Development Authority, the lead agency in developing Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park, will host a grand opening event on Sunday May 5th from 1-5 pm. This event will celebrate the culmination of three years of park development and the completion of the current hardscape and landscape initiatives currently underway. Come celebrate the kick-off of the 2013 riding season, enjoy something off the grill, and be part of the GRAND opening.

BAC Race Team is Forming

Interested in taking your riding to another level through competition? BAC is forming a registered race team under our affiliation with USA Cycling. This will be for ALL AGES and ABILITY LEVELS. Planning is still in the early stages, and a meeting will be announced soon. If you are ready for a new or renewed USAC license, it is possible to sign up now by selecting Boone Area Cyclists as your club and "BAC Racing." If you have an interest in this or have a specific question, email info@booneareacyclists.com.
