2015 has had a bittersweet beginning for us. My mother passed away from Alzheimer's Disease at the age of 90.  I am so blessed to have had a wonderful relationship with my mom.  She was always there for me and my children and was my biggest fan.  Everything I did was wonderful in her eyes.  She was my best friend and my confidante and I will miss her.

Accessible Seas 2015
Our Accessible Seas Cruise on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas is now in the record books.  Unfortunately, I was not able to go but Steve Kerper and his son Matt stepped in and did a fantastic job in leading our group of 85 cruisers.  Joining them as a group leader was Lise Lindsey from Phoenix who does a lot of work with amputees and others with disabilities.  Her great smile and kindness is always a welcome addition to our groups.  It definitely takes a team!  Our group was very diverse and we had amputees, people with Spina Bifida, post polio, multiple sclerosis, arthritis and more.  The focus was not on what we were living with but on how we lived and enjoyed all we were able to do.

One of our first time cruisers said it so well:

Life lesson from last week's cruise vacation: No matter your age or size, your disability/illness, or any other labels and past experiences, life is full of adventure and new friends. Grab hold and have fun. There may be falls and bumps along the way, but keep looking for adventure and friends along the way.

 And from a threepeater:

THANK YOU IMMENSELY Debra,
Steve,

Lisa and Matt for my third 'crip' cruise!! It's a vacation like no other meeting old friends and making new ones that you can be yourself around, enjoying all our quirks and uniqueness.

Multi Generation Family Arriving In Hotel Lobby
Multi-Generational Travel

Do you know that one of the biggest trends in travel is multi-generational travel?  If you're a grandparent, there's nothing quite like experiencing a destination through the eyes of your grandchildren.  And there are so many destinations to discover. Cruises and land trips or a combination of both may be the ideal vacation for your family.  We will ask you lots of questions so we can best meet the needs of everyone in your group.  Our goal is to make each person have an experience that exceeds their expectations.  Travel is the ultimate educator so why not expose your grandchildren to adventures and cultures that they've only read about so far?  You can make the pages of their books come to life!
So, if you want to start creating memories of a lifetime, plan your next vacation with all ages in mind.  We are here to help.
