 Greetings!
Sunday Fun Day is finally here! We have a full day of fun with the Packer Greats and would love for you to join us. We need everybody here to make some noise and cheer on the Packers with us!! Kickoff is at noon on Sunday when the Packers will be playing the Bengals. Both teams are 1-1 for the season, so put on your cheese heads and favorite jerseys and get over here to get loud and proud with us! There will be food, drinks, raffles, and more. Don't forget that we will be serving free pizzas at half time and we have a group of amazing players to watch the game with! Celebrity bartenders include: Gilbert Brown- defensive tackle "Grave Digger", 1993-2003 Lynn Dickey- quarterback , 1971-1985 Chris Jacke- kicker, 1989-1996 Bill Schroeder- wide receiver, 1994, 1997-2001 William Henderson- fullback, 1995-2006 Join us for this once in a lifetime chance to mingle with so many amazing players in such an intimate setting. This year we are supporting the Gilbert Brown Foundation with focus on Children's Cancer and the new Anti-Bullying Program. If you would like to get involved, all proceeds from the Saturday Meat Raffle and a portion of each race at the new Pig Races will be donated to these great causes. HELP NEEDED!
Due to the overwhelming success and fun last year for our Halloween Celebration, this year there will be 2 weekends of Halloween, September 28 and October 5! In order to make it a fun and memorable event, we are looking for help again this year. Seasonal campers interested in helping will receive 250 free site entries for helping with one weekend and 1000 free site entries for helping with both weekends. We are looking for help with many different activities such as the haunted hayride, trick-or-treating, crafts, etc. Interested campers can sign up in the Clubhouse or email here. All volunteers welcome!

CAMPING RECIPE OF THE WEEK:
GRILLED CHICKEN AND POTATO FOIL PACKS
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch slices
Aluminum foil 2 large onions, sliced
2 large green peppers, sliced 2 cups sliced button mushrooms
1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Directions:
- preheat grill to medium-high heat
- stir together the vegetable oil, cider vinegar, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, basil, and thyme in a bowl. set aside
- lay out 4 12x12 squares of aluminum foil. place 1 chicken breast in center of each square, top with potatoes, onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. ladle 1/4 of the sauce on each and fold the foil around the ingredients for form four sealed packets.
- Grill the packet for 30 to 40 minutes- until the internal temperature of the chicken breasts reaches 170 degrees.
