We would like to thank everybody that joined us last weekend to celebrate Mother's Day. The "Pampering Booths" were quite busy and offered unique and exciting shopping opportunities for all!  

 

We hope you will all join us this weekend to celebrate Hero's Weekend. Veterans camp for free this weekend. Reservations are required, so please contact us to reserve your camp site.

WEEKEND ACTIVITIES- Petey    
 

May 17-19 we are celebrating Hero's Weekend. On Saturday at 11:00 AM the Big Flats Volunteer Fire Department will have some volunteers visiting us to speak on fire safety and show us some of the tools and protective equipment that they use.

 

Saturday evening there will be a Nascar Party at the Clubhouse. Put on your favorite driver's clothing and come watch the race with us. Drink specials will be available during the race...$10 buckets of beer (domestic) and $2 mixed drinks (rail).
 

 

On Sunday please join us for $3 Bloody Marys before heading home. Unfortunately, Bingo has been cancelled on Sunday the 19th, but will resume again on the 26th of May.

Camper on site 113- $2000/Camper, $1600 plus tax/site- 1988 real lite camper, 28' long. Includes steel shed, 24' deck, TV and DVD player. Site has water, electric, and sewer.

Camper- $6500. 1990 30 ft. Jayco Designer Series 5th Wheel with 1 slide out. Camper has new tires, many extras, and is in good condition.

This year we are supporting the Gilbert Brown Foundation with focus on Children's Cancer and the new Anti-Bullying Program. If you would like to get involved, all proceeds from the Saturday Meat Raffle and a portion of each race at the new Pig Races will be donated to these great causes. CAMP RECIPE OF THE WEEK- PUDGIE POP-TARTS  
  
2 slices bread
butter
fruit preserves, any kind
canned vanilla frosting
pudgie pie iron
  
Directions:
  1. butter one side of each bread slice
  2. place one slice buttered side down in a hot pie iron
  3. top with about 2 tablespoons preserves and another bread slice, buttered side up
  4. close iron and trim off excess bread around the outside. Cook about 4 minutes or until bread is toasted, turning occasionally.
  5. remove from iron and spread with about 1 tablspoon frosting
