Dear SIOR Colleagues:
The First Annual Midwest Regional networking conference was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 23th and 24th in Grand Rapids, MI. Eighty members from 6 chapters gathered to discuss current market conditions, exchange best practices and network in a fun and informative setting. This event was at no cost to members due to our generous sponsors Ashley Capital, Wells Fargo, ARCO Design/Build, STAG Industrial, Van Trust, Crosslake Partners, NGKF, and CBRE. Everyone had a great time exploring several breweries, attending the annual ArtPrize: the world's most radically open arts competition in Grand Rapids, and dinner at the famous San Chez restaurant. I am thrilled to say this event was a great success, and I'll be looking forward to seeing all of you at the Second Annual Midwest Regional conference in 2015.
The SIOR Fall World conference in Nashville is Thursday. These conferences have been considered the most important events of the year for designees and others involved in the sale or lease of commercial real estate In addition to attending the most sophisticated educational programming, listening to excellent keynote speakers, and facilitating business, you'll have a chance to network with your fellow SIORs in a city that offers something for every kind of taste, sound and fun. I hope to see many of you there!
Our next chapter event will be the Platinum Appreciation Reception on Thursday, November 6th at the Rosewood Restaurant. This is a Platinum sponsor and members-only event. All members and Platinum Sponsors must be registered to attend.
The annual Holiday Party will be held on Friday, December 5th at the Glen View Club.
As always, we want to thank our Platinum Sponsors for their continued generosity and support of SIOR Chicago!
Best regards,
Elise A. Couston, SIOR
