STEM Day at KIS

Kenston Intermediate 5th graders enjoyed a field day of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math during STEM Science Lab Day! Young scientists were inspired to consider integrating STEM related courses into their academic schedules. Students rotated through five STEM activity stations including the Geauga Park District NatureScope program. That contributed to the day as careful observation skills were taught in the correct use of binoculars.

KHS honored as Fox 8's Cool School

Thank you! Chagrin Valley Rotary

Did you know?
In the late 1960's, football coach, Jack Bair, needed to order new uniforms.  When looking at options, they liked the look of America's team the Dallas Cowboys.  Working with Koenig Sporting Goods, they secured the permission of the Cowboys to use the iconic star on Kenston's helmet with small modifications.  Kenston's football players continue to sport the distinctive helmet today.
