Perfect on the ACT
Congratulations to Eric Poe. Eric earned the highest possible composite score of 36 on the ACT college admission and placement exam. This achievement on the ACT is significant and rare. On average, less that one-tenth of one percent of all test takers earn the top score. Among ACT tested U.S high school graduates in the class of 2013, only 1,162 out of 1.8 million students earned a composite score of 36. |
Giving Back
The Season of Giving has started at Kenston. Before Thanksgiving Break, Kenston Intermediate School students competed in a Penny War to raise money for United Way Services of Geauga County. They raised over $900 in under a week. In the upcoming weeks, KMS Student Council and KHS Interact Club will be holding Food Drives. The KHS Interact Club with assistance from KIS students will be participating in the Toys for Tots Drive. Donation boxes will be in their buildings. TES will be participating in a Pajama Drive through December 14th. New PJs (size infant to adult) will be collected at Timmons as part of "The Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive" sponsored by Scholastic Books. |
