The Firehall Theater needs an assistant to help organize a mini foreign film festival. Each film will reflect a different population of new Americans in Grand Forks: Sri Lanka, Senegal, Uganda, and Iran. These are all award winning films- and the theatre now has hi-def! If interested, email here.

Visual Arts Festival 

 

FREE and OPEN TO ALL!

 

Bring 1 - 4 printed copies of your art on 8.5" x 11" paper. Label your work... however you want.
We will hang the printed copy of your art work from a clothes hanger for around an hour. The work will be taken down when the festival ends (2ish).

Your art work will be displayed among all others who choose to join us in cold weather for this impromptu festival. Feel free to bring a hot drink and cookies! 
There will be 7 participating Russian artists at this event.This event is inspired by Russian Art Festival Mixed Forest.

This play adaptation of the Frank Baum classic "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" follows Kansas farmgirl Dorothy on her adventure through the land of Oz. With help from a scarecrow, tin woodman and lion, Dorothy encounters munchkins, poppies, winkies, witches, and the "great and powerful" Wizard of Oz. But, as exciting as her adventures are, she is always reminded that "home is the best place to be."

Surround yourself in the songs of the season and fill your heart with holiday cheer. The choirs of the UND Department of Music invite you to the second annual Winter wUNDerland holiday concert. This holiday extravaganza will feature more than 250 of UND's finest musicians, performing a collection of timeless holiday music, from popular holiday songs to classic carols and everything in between.

The evening will include performances by the UND Concert Choir, Varsity Bards, Allegro Women's Choir, Vivo Women's Ensemble, Steel Pan Band, student soloists, and special guest Grand Cities Children's Choirs. Bring the whole family and celebrate the season with the UND Choirs!
