One Woman's Witness: A Reflection
Rev. Ronny Lanier
Rev. Patricia Hernandez, national director of Women in Ministry and Transition Ministries, ABCUSA, reflects on the power of being a witness in this blog.  Hernandez looks at the witness of Rev. Ronny Lanier, asking, "Is there a witness in your life?  Is there someone who has awakened your soul, widened your eyes, warmed your heart, led you to the Lord of love, the wellspring of abundant life? Is there someone who has in the midst of blinding blizzards guided you home to Jesus? If so, give thanks, or as Rev. Ronny would say, 'Be of Good Cheer!' And join her in witnessing!"

Where in the World is General Secretary Medley?
General Secretary A. Roy Medley travels and represents American Baptist Churches USA wherever he goes. Recently, Dr. Medley travelled to Orlando, Florida, for the ABCUSA sponsored EMERGE Ministers Conference and Orientation to American Baptist Life. He attended meetings focused on Transformed by the Spirit and the life of ABCUSA. Medley was recognized at the ABC Mission Center following his appointment as chair of the newly constituted National Council of Churches (NCC) Governing Board. He then spent two days in Chicago working with a planning team for Mission Summit 2015 - yes, planning is already underway! In mid-February, he returned to Chicago for an Executive Meeting of the NCC. He also attended the recent Transformed by the Spirit partners and leadership meeting in Orlando, held February 20-21.

Please continue to hold Dr. Medley in your prayers as he travels nationally and internationally, representing American Baptists at events in the coming months.
