October 7, 2016. Happenings will soon be better. Don't give up just before the breakthrough. You have waited a long time. I know that. I know it has been a stretching of your patience. Look at it from the standpoint of your faith being exercised. You've asked Me for wisdom many times. When I gave it, you were so thankful. When you get through this time you will look back on it and see how close we have become.

October 7, 2016. Going through difficult situations can definitely be disheartening and troublesome and are often wrapped up in a ball of chaos. I know of the hardships you have encountered and have been with you along the way. You need to know that good times are headed your way. Your perception of the difficulties will soon be changed when you realize the plan I have had all along. Though you cannot see it now, believe Me when I say relief is coming.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Christmas is coming soon! It is the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus. He loved children. Can you think of a better way to honor Him than to give to children who are so poor? Many children in the Philippines, like the ones pictured here do not get anything for Christmas. They barely survive from day to day. There are no special celebrations for Christmas or birthdays. No gifts. No food.

With your help, we will make Christmas special for such children. The children will receive gifts and food and will hear the Gospel. They will hear the real Christmas story.

The gifts of food and gifts you have made possible have brought tears of joy and expressions of thanksgiving. Some children received a gift for the first time in their lives, never having received a gift for any reason -- Christmas, birthday or any other reason. Teenage girls cried when receiving brand new bath towels because they never had their own towel. The whole household was using one threadbare towel. Other popular gifts include clothing and shoes, blankets and sleeping mats. An elderly grandmother who is very poor, but does the best she can to care for several grandchildren, was not expecting to receive a gift. When she did, she cried because she had never received a Christmas gift before.

We need to receive your Christmas contributions by Thanksgiving so we can get the money to the pastors the first week of December. Thank you for your generosity.
