Three young children are among thousands affected by the war on drugs in the Philippines. You can be used by God to make good come from tragedy. See below.

September 28, 2016. Many people in our country are fearful and have little hope when they think about their future. Very important is the truth that hope is the anchor of our soul and being. If we lose our hope, not much is left for our faith for miracles and breakthroughs. First, there must be a restoration of our hope. Only He qualifies as your anchor. Tell Jesus you want Him as your anchor. He promises to deliver.
Proverbs 28:1 (NASB) "The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, But the righteous are bold as a lion." Ras Robinson

September 28, 2016. Do you not think I can handle the problem you heard? Do you not think that I knew what was going on in secret? Yes, I knew and I knew you would eventually know. I was the one who orchestrated the uncovering of what was happening. I will see this thing through and there will be a victorious ending. What I want you to do is be full of faith. Exemplify faith before those who need it.
Hebrews 11:6 (NASB) "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." Bev Robinson

September 28, 2016. Right now might be a good time to reconsider and reevaluate those things which you once held at arms distance or basically shunned as falsehood. Think again about what have been your sacred golden cows that have prevented you from receiving Gods truths from within your own belief structure. Repent and turn away from religious pride that has hindered your growth with God. Cease now from closing yourself off. Be open minded to His truths.
Psalm 46:10 (AMP) "Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth." Kevin Robinson

Ministry to Children in the Philippines
Pastor Lloyd Cilacan, one of our FCM pastors, visited a public high school in the Philippines. He conducted a Drug Awareness Program, helping the youth to realize the harmful effects drugs have on lives. Afterward he presented the Gospel and prayed and 48 students accepted Christ as Savior.
Pastor Lilian Cilacan, Lloyd's mother who is also a FCM pastor in the Philippines, recently made this statement to a group of youth, "Drugs can easily come in to your lives if you are not controlled by the Lord. Let Jesus reign in your hearts and He will protect you and help you stay away from this evil of drugs!!!"
In the meantime, thousands of children are affected. Many have lost both parents. Many more have lost a breadwinner father. Single mothers are left with no income. Some children actually stay in the prisons with parents. As with any war, the innocent are victims.
One of our FCM pastors wrote over the weekend about one such family. The father is on "the list," meaning he had been identified as an addict. He refused to surrender, choosing instead to go into hiding. Now his wife is left with 4 small children, a home that was destroyed by the drug-addicted husband and no income. Three of the children, age 6, 7 and 8, are not able to go to school because the mother has no way to pay for the required fees and supplies. The pastor is asking if we can help.
At this point we cannot say "yes" to these children. FCM already has more children sponsored than we have sponsors, which means those children are covered by FCM general fund donations.
There is an opportunity during hard times like these to reach many for Christ. Would you be interested in sponsoring Christian (age 8), April (age 7) and Hazel (age 6)? You can be part of God plan to use for good what the enemy means for evil.
You can change a life by sponsoring a child, making education possible or by helping with food to supplement a very meager diet.
Christmas is coming soon! A few days ago we received the first donation of this season to give Christmas to children in the Philippines. It is not too early. What you give goes into the "Christmas Fund." Thank you for being so generous and blessing the children.
