September 26, 2016. Honestly, how many times have you misspoken and said words you regretted? Like me, you probably would like to have taken those words back in mid-air. You knew what would likely come back at you because of those words. But this can be your opportunity to train yourself to edit your words before they emit from your lips. Since you now know you have messed up by way of words to others, humble yourself and fix it with an honest apology.
Proverbs 6:2-3 (NIV) "If you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth, then do this, my son, to free yourself, since you have fallen into your neighbor's hands: Go and humble yourself; press your plea with your neighbor!" Ras Robinson

September 26, 2016. Keep on course. There has been temptation about this time in the past that gets you off course. Stay in close contact with Me during this whole time. Don't think you've got it made. That will allow temptation to deliver a fatal punch, making you lose the battle. Satan is a formidable foe. But while he is tempting you with his sneaky plans, keep in the forefront of your mind the knowledge that he lost it all at the cross.

September 26, 2016. Are you thirsty for more of what you have drunk from the Lord? Have your lips become parched and chapped from the lack of His precious life giving water? Know that He is capable of giving you all you need to quench your thirst. Now and in the future, He is more than willing to saturate you. Open wide your mouth and receive from His abundant reservoir all that can and will fill you up.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines
 Pastor Fernando Impang, one of our FCM pastors, ministers to prison inmates in a city of the Philippines.
In the meantime, thousands of children are affected. Many have lost both parents. Many more have lost a breadwinner father. Single mothers are left with no income. Some children actually stay in the prisons with parents. As with any war, the innocent are victims.
One of our FCM pastors wrote over the weekend about one such family. The father is on "the list," meaning he had been identified as an addict. He refused to surrender, choosing instead to go into hiding. Now his wife is left with 4 small children, a home that was destroyed by the drug-addicted husband and no income. Three of the children, age 6, 7 and 8, are not able to go to school because the mother has no way to pay for the required fees and supplies. The pastor is asking if we can help.
At this point we cannot say "yes" to these children. FCM already has more children sponsored than we have sponsors, which means those children are covered by FCM general fund donations.
There is an opportunity during hard times like these to reach many for Christ. Would you be interested in sponsoring Christian (age 8), April (age 7) and Hazel (age 6)? You can be part of God plan to use for good what the enemy means for evil.
You can change a life by sponsoring a child, making education possible or by helping with food to supplement a very meager diet.
Christmas is coming soon! A few days ago we received the first donation of this season to give Christmas to children in the Philippines. It is not too early. What you give goes into the "Christmas Fund." Thank you for being so generous and blessing the children.
