July 23, 2016. Count your many blessings; name them one by one. Wise and loving parents teach their children to be grateful for each and every blessing God makes possible. Be sure to notice that even while surrounded by those who dislike or hate you, the Lord invites you to His table. He does this so He can single you out for special attention and recognition. Allow Him to refresh your anointing. Your cup is destined to overflow today.

July 23, 2016. What you heard is good and gives direction, but you aren't sure if it is what I said or what is badly needed. Some things you know immediately are My words, but some things will have to be acted on before you see if it is my word. This is one of them. Your innate weakness is in this area and is the reason for your lack of understanding and surety. Stay closely connected to Me.

July 23, 2016. It's time to listen attentively to what the Spirit is saying to the Church. He is speaking decisively and succinctly to you in very clear and precise means. Apply your mind and heart to what He is plainly declaring to you. Don't fool yourself into thinking that because you are moving one way or another that you are being obedient to His commands. Move when He says to move. Steer clear of questioning His motives for your betterment.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Yesterday during our morning devotion and prayer time, God spoke this word to us from Psalm 22: "Happy (or you could say 'blessed') is the generous man, the one who feeds the poor.(Proverbs 22:9 TLB).

This long line of children live at a garbage dumpsite in the Philippines and too often experience real hunger. One of our FCM pastors regularly goes there and feeds them and teaches them of the love of Jesus. We sponsor several children who live there and their lives are being greatly affected. She almost always takes some of the sponsored high school and college students with her to help. Those youth are learning to serve and care for and minister to others.

What a privilege we have to be part of this ministry to some of the poorest of the poor. God's promised blessings are on the way, in fact are already here.

Thank you to all the Partners, Sponsors and Friends who give to make this ministry to the poor possible. You are part of God's plan for these and many more poor and disadvantaged children. You will be blessed; He has promised it.
