July 11, 2016. You may know someone who knows how to cheat with scales and fake weights. This is done in order to scam money, usually from the poor and unenlightened. The cheater often laughs when his customer leaves and/or when he tells his friends how he got by with a clever cheat. Pray for such people who cheat the poor and scam others. God is closely watching every transaction. He takes care of the poor. May justice be wrought with conviction.

July 11, 2016. I would not tell you to do something and then not supply you with the power to do it. That would be cruel. I am not a God who takes pleasure in seeing you powerless. I am for you and not against you. I know your heart and I see your love. You want My blessing. You have it My child. Be at peace knowing I delight in you. Take advantage of My power. Go and do well.

July 11, 2016. Scripture says "To whom much is given, much is required." You have been given more than you need so it is only appropriate for you to be accountable for what you have received. Let your mind, will and emotions be in grateful overflow mode and thus be an outlet in your spirit person to those around you. Be a vessel ready to be used for My glory. Be a beacon with the light I have placed within you.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

The mothers of some of our sponsored children show their support and by preparing food for their children who are in school. They then take the food to school at lunchtime and give it to the children. It gives them great joy to be able to do this and to be part of the life-changing events that are happening in their children.

This group of children were uneducated. Only one of the group had gone beyond 1st grade until they were sponsored. They did not have birth certificates so could not legally attend school. The pastor and church who have answered God's call to minister to them have worked hard to make it possible for the children to go to school and to have food and to grow strong in the Lord. The children are excited and happy to be going to school and very happy that they they get to eat everyday. Before being sponsored, they had too many hungry days and were not very healthy. It has been great to see the changes that have happened in a short time.

One little girl who is 10 years old and just entered 1st grade said recently, "I thank God because I have now started learning how to read even just a little bit. I am really happy because I want to learn how to read and write."
