God's plan for orphans is that they will be cared for and loved. We can be part of His chosen team to fulfill that plan. See below.

June 29, 2016. Think of the times you may have flattered others. Was it a passing thought or a declaration of a conviction of desire to bless another. Your intentions make all the difference. It is good to let your yes be yes and your no be no. In the end it is better for everyone involved to embrace the truth and to leave off so many unnecessary extra words. Quoting God's word to others is almost always best even if it sometimes might cut or sting. Remember that you can clarify and bless to heal up any potential wounding.

June 29, 2016. Are our dreams too big Lord? No My child, they aren't. I operate in big dreams as well as small dreams. If My children would dream big. Big things could be done. We could win the world faster if dreams were larger. I told Abraham he would have as many children as stars in the sky and sands of the seashore. He believed the dreams I gave him and those dreams are coming true. Child, dream big.

Genesis 22:17-18 (MSG) "I'll bless you-oh, how I'll bless you! And I'll make sure that your children flourish-like stars in the sky! like sand on the beaches! And your descendants will defeat their enemies. All nations on Earth will find themselves blessed through your descendants because you obeyed me."  Bev Robinson
June 29, 2016. Be about exhibiting Christ's character in whatever you do and say. Let love be the primary driving motive in every aspect of all things. Do you represent Christ at all times? If not, examine your heart closely to see what is lacking. Let the Bible be your guide about how to live your life. Put on the fruit of the Spirit and let them be an adornment of how to live in Christ-like fashion and lifestyle.

Isaiah 61:3 (NLT) "To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory."  Kevin Robinson

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Do you ever wonder if sponsoring a child in another country really makes a difference? Compare these 2 photos. The photo on the right was taken in 2011. These 3 children were found living mostly alone in a remote jungle-like environment in the Philippines. Their mother died and the father was away for days at a time, looking for work. When he came home, he would bring some food, but the children were mostly on their own. They suffered from malnutrition as evidenced by the red streaks in the hair. Eleven year old Cherry Rose had to drop out of school in 3rd grade to care for her 2 younger brothers. Then their father died and they became orphans.

A church where one of our pastors serves began to help with food and other necessities. FCM sponsored them so they could go to school. Life began to change for them. The boy in photo on the left is Jonrey. He is the same child seen in the photo on the right in the white shirt. It took a team put together by God to bring about the changes that are so evident. The church and pastor who care for them and the sponsors through FCM teamed up and God's plan has been at work in the lives of the children. Jonrey is now in 6th grade and is a very happy boy. Positive changes are also seen in the other 2 children. What a joy to be part of God's plan to redeem these beautiful children.

When a child is sponsored and joins the FCM family, that child goes to school with everything they need, they receive supplemental nutrition and they are introduced to Jesus as Savior and discipled to live for Him.

You can be part of God's plan to redeem the life of a child. If you want to sponsor a child or provide extra nutrition, there are links below where you can indicate your desire to help. You will be blessed as you bless the children.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. (James 1:27)
