A long walk through rivers and on dusty roads does not deter sponsored students who have the opportunity to go to school. See below.

June 25, 2016. Are you tired of going around in circles yet? This is a serious matter because the circles will consume your time, energy and bank account. Only a fool would watch this forming disaster and do nothing about it. Surely you are not to continue in your passivity, knowing the certain outcome is at hand. The Lord knows the right path you need to take. Open up your path (or road) atlas and make the essential necessary corrections.

June 25, 2016. Waiting on Me doesn't mean you are to let something get out of your mind. Be wise, but don't delay or lag in your spirit. A choice is coming. Deep down there will be unrest. Listen to that unrest. Deep down you'll know that it is a test of faith. Keep expecting and I will show you the right time to move. I will give a clear signal. Deep down peace will come. Expectation and faith will pay off.

June 25, 2016. Try to leave enough room for growth to occur. Too often you've boxed yourself in and haven't allowed any space for expansion in your spiritual mindset. Open your heart and mind to the vast expanse of knowledge which I can and will impart to you. Don't close off your mind because of things you don't understand. Lay aside traditions of men and begin to receive the spiritual newness that the Holy Spirit delivers each and every day.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Angelou, age 16 and Lyndy Mae age 12, live in a remote part of the Philippines and walk a long distance every day to school. They leave early, cross rivers and walk dusty, rocky roads (or muddy if it rains). They go first to the church where breakfast waits, then go on to school.

They are so excited to be going to school, they don't mind the long walk. Both of them have younger siblings and feel a great responsibility for them. Both know that education is the way out of poverty.

Without the help of their sponsors, they would not be able to go to school and would be caught in the cycle of poverty.

When a child is sponsored and joins the FCM family, that child goes to school with everything they need, they receive supplemental nutrition and they are introduced to Jesus as Savior and discipled to live for Him.
