June 13, 2016. Not just you alone, but all who believe and have by their faith and God's choice, become a chosen race. Does that excite you? No one can ever take away God's choice to include you in His chosen nation. In your spirit, you know it to be true. Therefore, read the following two verses over and over again and pray, thanking God that He has chosen you.
1 Peter 2:9-10 (NASB) "But you are a chosen race, A royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." June 13, 2016. How are you going to get through the challenges ahead is something which has been uppermost in your mind? I know every pitfall. I know every stumbling block. What needs to be uppermost in your mind is how to stay in tight with Me. Do this and you will walk through minefields the enemy has set for you. You will stand in amazement of Me. You will see how the war is won. Simply walk with Me.

June 13, 2016. If you seek after wisdom with all your heart, I will be found. Know that in your search for wisdom, your quest of this powerful trait of Mine, you will not be disappointed. Continually humble yourself and you will find Me. It is a good thing to obtain My wisdom from on high. Lay down your foolish pride and be bold enough to ask for the wisdom that I offer which is not of this world.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines
 So many hungry children came. The workers were so happy they could give the children some good vitamin enriched food to eat. They only hoped there would be enough for so many children.
During a recent visit to the Philippines, we visited an elementary school in a very poor community. Some of our sponsored children attend the school. There were about 375 children and 9 teachers. My heart was so touched when I saw many of the children had no shoes and wore clothing that revealed their poverty. One precious thing we saw was a child received the cup of food, ate half of it then ran up a nearby hill and gave the other half to his mother who was watching. Our host pastor takes large kettles of food to the school every Wednesday. The principal said he wished the food could be provided every day because the children are so hungry.
It is an especially hard time now in the Philippines, especially for the poor. Much of the nation is experiencing a severe drought which means that food is scarce. Rice is basic in the Philippine diet and many rice farmers cannot plant rice crops because there is not enough water. Some of the poor have been learning to grow their own gardens to help provide food for their families, but in recent months the plants die because of the drought. We know the drought is a temporary situation, but for now there are many hungry people because of it.
